Can't wait to get updates and see photos. I'm traveling to Nashville with my daughter for 2 weeks in June.

WHEW! well you can see I am back in cold rainy NJ - I tell you I had a wonderful time. Put a bid in on a home in Franklin. Don't think they will accept it. Didnt take any pic (sorry) except at the GMA - We totally loved the Bellevue homes we saw the View's were just amazing the only prob was that they had backyards on cliffs (hills/slopes) and we want to put in a pool - would be a big expense - We did not get down to Murfreesboro unfortunately and will probably run down and look there if our offer is declined - Either way we are TN bound and very excited. Folks were friendly, accomodating and appeared more relaxed than I am used to. I took all advice and order sweet tea - did not go to the restaurant starving and expecting my meal in seconds - The Mater D in one place liked us so much he picked up the tab! For real! big smile! So I won't be on the forum much because I have to PACK this place up and get folks in here looking at it for purchase!

Where in Franklin did you find a home? We're thinking of moving down there too but don't know where to start searching.

Whew I looked all over Franklin but to be honest I liked the Bellevue homes better - they had more land (larger backyards) a lot of the subdivisions in Franklin had highways right behind the back yards which made for too much noise for my taste. I was swayed to Franklin because you dont hear a bad word about it and it is all the rave for the school system. Not that I heard anything bad about Bellevue either but it seams that Williamson Cty is the place to be. I did find that what I was looking for in a house crept up into the mid 300k range which I did not intend to spend and for high 200k and low 300k you can get 3000 sq ft in Murfreesboro with .25 acre lot - so I may rethink my decision. I've received a counter offer which I don't think I will accept or counter although the home is truly exceptional with zero flaws and wonderful location I just think it was overpriced to start with. (fsbo) There were other very desirable homes for great prices just not particular WOW factor I was looking for.

I hope you find a house you like. I've lived in Bellevue for over twenty years.
