Brentwood Country Club (houses, taxes, live)

Can anyone tell me alittle about The Brentwood country club? We have just begun the process of relocating from Long Island,NY to Brentwood. Would like Info such as type of people, Cost, and what the grounds are like. Thank you so much...

Brentwood CC has a membership made up primarily of an upper middle class population in the typical professional, management, sales, business owner fields. I would consider it more of a relaxed atmosphere rather than a stuffy and formal one. The golf course is okay but I would not consider it in the top 50% of private courses in the area. One of it's problems is that it is only about 6500 yards from the back tees. Another problem is that the course appears to be designed to fit between the houses in the development with houses lining many of the fairways. I don't have any recent information on initiation fees for BCC. The initiation fees for most of the private clubs in the area runs between 10k and 50k. I would guess that BCC would be in the lower half of this range.
You might want to go to Brentwood Country Club in Brentwood, Tennessee to get additional information. I'm sure they would send you a membership packet with all of the costs and amenities.

When I inquired about membership back in October of 2007, I was told it's a $16k initiation, $415 per month dues plus taxes plus a $50 per month food minimum.

Is that for regular membership, or golf included? Someone I know that lives in the community, said regular membership costs less. She uses the swim club and not the golf course.
