If you mean Charlotte NC, I guess it depends on what you're looking for. What kind of job do you have? Charlotte NC can't be beat if you want a job with a financial institution. However, Nashville beats Charlotte when it comes to jobs in higher education and the entertainment industry. Nashville is also a hotbed of jobs in the medical field.
Charlotte has a larger airport, but Nashville has more government jobs since it's a state capital. Charlotte is closer to the Smoky Mountains and is also closer to the ocean.
I personally prefer Nashville; I think Nashville is easier to navigate than Charlotte (more freeways in Nashville), and I like the character of Nashville. I like the fact that Nashville has a very active live music scene. I also like the older neighborhoods of Nashville, particularly those around some of the colleges like Vanderbilt and Belmont.

My goodness, are things getting desperate in North Carolina? This is the 2nd post today in the TN forum by people from NC trying to talk someone into moving to NC instead of TN.
