We have a lot of old paint and a 5 gallon container of very old non-usable deck weather protection (left behind by previous owner). Is there a hazardous waste disposable area anywhere in the Nashville or surrounding areas?

Here you go:
Nashville.gov - Public Works Recycle

The center on Trinity Lane takes paint/etc. If you don't have much, they often won't charge anything.

Pick a random spot in Antioch. It will fit right in.

In order to use the Metro Hazardous Waste center you must be a resident of Davidson County. They look at your Driver License.

Davidson County

If you reside in other Counties check with your County Recycling and Hazardous Waste Agency.

Sumner County residents should save their household hazardous waste and dispose of it at the designated Sumner County collection site.
Call (615) 452-1114 to obtain collection date information.

No problem at all Mad Fiddler, at least the information is out there for those in Davidson County.

Thanks TNkudzu for the information, I will give that number a call later today.
