My daughter lives in Clarksville, and we want to look for some furniture in Nashville. What are some good stores? We are looking for good quality, but not ridiculously expensive.

TIA

Try these:

West Elm (Green Hills)
Haverty's (Cool Springs)
American Signature Furniture (Cool Springs)
Crescent (Cool Springs)
Sprintz (Cool Springs)

I was going to suggest Crescent as well. Coming from Clarksville the closest one would be the one near Jefferson Street rather than Cool Springs. Also the Sprintz on White Bridge Road is both bigger and closer.

You might also want to try B.F. Myers.

Over near Rivergate there is American Signature, Ashley, Rooms to Go, PricePoint and a warehouse type store that is over priced. We've gotten good deals from PricePoint. PricePoint is the only one in the bunch that warehouses inventory locally. Rooms to go, Ashley and American Signature all deliver for a fee with no option to pick up locally. With PricePoint, you buy then go to the warehouse a mile down the road and pick up.

I will say that I found the EXACT same sofa at American Signature for $100 more than Furniture Warehouse (the $399 sofa store) had it for...FYI.

Tia, don't forget about Hopkinsville right across the border from us. Herb Hayes and Bill Billies are good places to visit.

In Nashville you will find Rooms to Go, Haverties, Ashley that will work with you.

You can buy most, if not all, of the brands mentioned in Clarksville itself.

B.F. Myers in Goodletsville is pretty good. We bought our children's furniture there. Best thing is, if it is in stock (building outside and beside the store), they will get it to you the same or next day (not sure about Clarksville though). Super nice people and furniture. More expensive the places like Rooms to go or Ashley's.

Stay away from Funiture Warehouse at 502 Thompson Lane They are rude and must have all the
bussiness they want. I will spend my money elsewhere and would recomend others do the same

Crescent has closed both locations, too bad you didn't ask a week ago as they were liquidating all of their furniture :-(

Try this place, their commercials are terrible, but they actually have some decent items for a low price:
