I am planning to move to the Murfreesboro area soon for a I job offer, but I would like to stay in a short term apartment/hotel for a few weeks, until I am sure the job is going to work out. I do not want to sign a lease until I am sure about things. Are there any extended stay hotels/apartments in the area?
Thanks.

There are quite a few weekly rate motels. Like anywhere else, they going to be kind of shady, but it beats $40/night at other places.

I stayed in one for about a week when we moved here. I still have all of my extremities, so everything worked out.

I think there is a Value Place Inn for about 180 a week.

Yeah, it's right near the exit 81 off of I-24. It's on, or right off of Church St. Really conveinant location actually.

I don't recall any new motels around there. Sure about that?

I just went by there today. It looks nice enough. Not sure that is new. Maybe new name and renovated? In any case, I think the OP would be fine there.
