Of course it doesn't! I was just sort of saying that if someone can get a cheaper house on the other side of the county line, then they definitely can in Columbia, so the yuppies that can't afford what they have now might just move south to Columbia-hell.

I still cannot understand why in TN you can have a town that is in two different counties. Were they smoking some of the local shrubbery when such plans were made? HAHA!

Goodlettsville sits in Davidson and Sumner Counties too..

So does Brentwood in Williamson and Davidson, It's weird like that.

Yeah she sold like a 3br 2ba 1500sqft house for like $270k JUST because it was in Williamson County.

Then bought a 4br 2ba 1850sqft house 2 blocks down the road for like $180k.

Let me ask you folks a question...

My wife and I were looking at some land in Mt. Pleasant, Obviously we don't have the money right now to buy it ( 100 acres at $95k ) but found that alot of land down there is cheap. Is that an okay place to live for a mixed race couple ?

Okay, my wife grew up in Columbia, TN and says that Mt. Pleasant is awful. She never really said why it was awful other than just saying it is dumpy. That's all I really know about Mt. Pleasant. I would think that people there may tend to be a bt more closed-minded. I could be wrong though.

Also, Bristol is in both Tennessee and Virginia.

You know, I'm not exactly sure how it works there.

Actually, it's not. Bristol VA and Bristol TN are two separate towns with separate mayors, city councils, school systems, etc.

Anyway, Tullahoma is in two counties (Coffee and Franklin), Oak Ridge is in Anderson and Roane counties, and Johnson City is in Washington, Carter, and Sullivan counties (yup, 3 counties). Very strange.

Okay, I was wrong then. They are right next to each other though, right?
