Hi all: I will be moving to the Spring Hill area (Maury County) in the summer of 2007.
Anything you can tell me good or bad about the area?

I hope you're not commuting north (Franklin, Brentwood or heaven forbid- Nashville). There's a big traffic problem due to the fast growth and little planning. Other than that, you should love it there. Pretty, lots of new businesses, low crime.

Well I'll be looking for a job as soon as I get there and I don't know if this new job will take me, north, south, east or west of Spring Hill.
I am not familiar with the area. I am flying up there on 2/6 to look at some houses but I know it will be in Spring Hill area (I need to be close to my daughter - Leipers Fork area) but of course that area is completely out of my range $$$$.
I guess I will have to get use to the traffic congestion but believe me coming from Miami, Florida, anything will be better.
It is really bad down here, very congested and sometimes you wonder where some of these people learned how to drive and how they got their licenses.
Life is also very expensive here. I just paid $3600 for my homeowners on a 1181 SF home and my taxes were close to $1900.00. It is impossible to live down here, especially if you are etting close to retirement age how I am (61) and my husband is already retired. I think Tennessee will be the ideal state for us to live a better life.
I have heard a look of good things about the people there and that is just what we need, a place to call home that it would really feel like HOME.
