As Nashville continues to Boom and grow into a Bigtime Metropolis, so does it's need to live big time!

Nashville could use more upscale 2-4 story brownstones or dense garden style condo developments blended with commercial. Not everyone wants to live in an industrial high rise or in a crackerbox either. Nashville lacks housing diversity. Gated communities are largely limited to the suburbs.

They are developing an inner city strictly for the privileged and wealthy. They are going to take out all the old public housing. They already started on the east side, one of the worst of Nashville "Hoods" Casee Homes. It's already impacting surounding areas as minority and low income families who own and cash out move 20 or more miles out and buy there. It's already a city catering to mostly young wealthy college grads and trust funders. I'm 60 and stopped going out in the bars and venues about 4 years ago. It startred to get really annoying to see so much wealth at a time when many younger people have nothing. Here in Nashville there seems to be no end to the number of young people who are living on at least 7k a month and pay 1500-3000 or more for a luxery apartment or nice house. It really is the new alternative to all the other big cites, and no harsh winter, although it gets pretty dark and damp for 12 weeks. Now a Ritz Carlton is coming to North Nashville.
