Hello all,

I'm currently building a home in Frankiln in the Ladd Park area. I've searched but have not been able to find a master plan for that area (not sure if this is common for the city to put together or not).

There are many subdivisions planned and changes to roads planned. It would be nice to see a completed view of all of this planned development. I'm assuming builders don't give away their entire plan up front because it might prevent sales for folks who want a specific lot/location that isn't being developed yet, among other reasons. However, even a general sense of what is planned would be great.

Has anyone see anything like this? Here's what I've been able to gather so far:

Partial Ladd Park site plan (not sure how accurate this still is)- http://buildwithblvd.publishpath.com...ite%20plan.jpg

Enderly Pointe Site Plan (park of Ladd Park, but not included above - Signature Homes Portion Only. Cannot locate one for Jones, who is building the other half of the neighborhood):

Lockwood Glen Site Plan

Water's Edge (not sure if this is complete or not):

Simmon's Ridge site plan (appears to be incomplete) -

As for roads...

Carothers will likely be widened to four lanes in this area in the future:
City of Franklin, TN : Carothers Parkway South Extension

And, as you can see when driving by, Long Ln will go across 65:
City of Franklin, TN : Long Lane

What am I missing? Is there a way to view this all together?

That area is right along the Franklin city and Williamson County limits, so you will need to check the long range planning sites for both municipalities:

Here is a start:

http://www.williamsoncounty-tn.gov/D.../Home/View/406

Williamson County, TN - Official Site - Long Range Planning

That whole part of the county will look completely different in 10 years.

I don't have a ton to add to this conversation but did want to say "hi neighbor!" And thanks for the info! We are currently building a house in Brenley Crossing at Ladd Park (lot 1186) expected to move in around June/July! Where are you building in Ladd?

Also, not sure if you have kids but one site I found interesting was the WCS website. On the strategic planning tab there is a file that shows school attendance projections as well as capital outlay plans. When looking at the schools we are zoned for (oak view, page, and page)- it's clear there are capacity issues. This coupled with the capital outlay plans have me believe they are planning to quickly build some new schools to handle the population growth. I've been very curious as to where these will be placed- with all the young families moving to the Carothers area it seems like it would be an ideal location for a new school or two. But I suppose we'll see soon enough!
