How do you think the city of Nashville is coming along? Thoughts on the growth, development, and the metro and all. I did a thread about Memphis and I wanted to hear about it's neighbor, nashville.

Lol, there are quite a few threads on this already... maybe not directly, but many related to this. In short, Nashville is growing like crazy and shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon. Lots of jobs are coming here and so are people. Traffic gets worse every month. Many historically "bad" areas are being completely revamped and renovated.

Not a ton, but the OP did note that they did this same thing with Memphis so it would be logical to think he or she will take what they learned about it and compare to Nashville.

New growth should show Nashville has larger pop than Memphis city. For the metro area, Nashville passed Memphis a long time ago.

The 2015 estimates from the US Census put Nashville just a breath behind Memphis in city population. At this point in 2016, considering both city's trajectories, it's safe to say Nashville has passed Memphis. But it won't be official until the 2016 estimates are released....in May 2017 (and it won't become OFFICIAL official until the actual 2020 Census, which should be ready in 2021).

So that's probably the reason the wiki page hasn't been "updated".

Nashville has really changed. And I agree with the above, it's nothing like Memphis.
