Hi all,
My husband and I are moving to Williamson County this spring. We'd like to live near Franklin, if possible, though we can't afford many of the upscale homes offered there.
However, some of the condos in Hardison Hills (corner of W Main and Downs Blvd) are within our price range. Can anyone give his/her perspective on this community? It doesn't look far from the center of Franklin, but are the roads and sidewalks such that one could easily walk or bike to the central business district?
Thank you in advance to anyone who can offer perspective on such a specific question.

Downs
Downs is at times VERY busy with traffic
but the good thing is that the drivers in Franklin are VERY carefull of bikers and walkers on ANY street

Hardison Hills
I have several friends who live in Hardison Hills and have no complaints. My son and I go over and swim at the pool from time to time in the summer, and it's quite nice. I have biked Downs myself and it is pretty bike friendly...cars are generally careful around bikers.

Can anyone tell me what the area is like around the Hardison Hills townhome subdivision? The townhome complex looks really nice but I'm not so sure about the area around it, what's the reputation? Are there bad areas in Franklin?
