Hi everyone! Our family may be relocating to Murfreesboro. We own our home now but will be renting when we first get there. We would like to get to know the area first before buying. Can anyone suggest a good apt complex for our family? There is my husband and myself and our two sons ages 12 and 16.
As everyone has said on here we would like an area with good schools. Our youngest is in middle school and our oldest in high school. We know nothing about Murfreesboro other than what I've read on these forums. From what I've read Murfreesboro sounds like a nice place to raise a family.
I've enjoyed reading the various comments from you all. Thank you in advance for any advice you can give. Chrissy

Here is the link for the school system:
http://www.rcs.k12.tn.us/

I've heard that Blackman and Siegel are the best ones. They are the newer ones so I guess part of that is them being more up-to-date.

If you got to the site and see what areas fall into the school districts for those schools, then you can find the apartment complexes that would be in those districts.

Searching Murfreesboro apartments on Google, the first link will show where they google map places. You could use that as a guide.

Hi Chrissy,

The Paddock Club apartments are on Thompson Lane and zoned for Siegel Middle and Siegel High. The apartments are very nice and they will even do a six month lease. They have a lot of professionals and families living there for short term housing. If you rent closer to campus you will find many complexes overrun with MTSU students. If you want to be in the Blackman school zone, try Harpers Point on John Rice Blvd which is right off I24. Moderator cut: cut phone number and their website is Moderator cut: link cut

You would be pleased with either of these complexes. Very clean and nice management. There are many, many others if you want more names or info just send me an email and I'll be glad to help! M'boro is a huge rental town!! Blackman and Siegel are the two most requested high schools and middle schools in the area.
