We bought a farm west of College Grove and now need a good honest Custom home builder that won't cut corners. I plan to build a home that's approximately 4,500 sq. ft. with partial basement. I want someone with plenty of experience that does everything right. I will be retired by the time we move to TN so can be on site daily to supervise, so I'm not opposed to hiring a general contractor that tells me who to call and does quality control. I'm used to sub-contractors that attempt to cut corners in my construction business so my main concern is to have a very knowledgeable contractor that uses good conscientious subs.

Chris,

I have family in Katy. Can you convince them to move here too?

There is a custom builder that several friends have used. They've said nothing but great things about them. I know the owner from church and would be happy to get you in touch with him.

When are you looking to build?

Do you know where in Katy they are? We live a couple blocks west of Cinco Ranch High School. Is the Custom builder Superior by chance? I had another reply mention that they knew them from church but a site administrator removed the post because that person mentioned their own business as well, which I think is a little ridiculous. We plan to move in 3 years which means we'll start construction in 2 years and spend the next year planning, designing and figuring out all the details.
Where do you live? I'll have 2 boys in high school when we move and we're zoned for Page which appears to be a good school. Both boys are serious football players so we're hoping Page has a good coach & program.

We used Todd Spillane with Solitude Custom Homes, and he did a great job. Highly recommend him!

Botsko, Bostick, and Ernst are great custom builders. Botsko Homes are featured in Parade of Homes
