My daughter is getting married in the McEwen TN area (about an hour west of Nashville) on June 21, 2014. We are looking for a cover band to perform and MC at the reception - 3-4 hours. We are hoping to find one for $1500 and must include its own equipment. Also looking for videography services for the same wedding - 8 hours, $2000 or less. Any suggestions?

Maybe Pink Cadillac. I have no idea what they charge.

I just looked; they have a video on YouTube.

You''ll find quite a few by Googling "Nashville Wedding Band" but I think your $1500 is the bottom of the barrel in terms of payment, particularly with the 2 hour commute, an hour or so for set up/tear down and then a 3 - 4 hour gig . . . . Maybe a small band? A duet?

I think CountryGirl is probably right.

You could also look in Clarksville. That would be a shorter commute for a band, and their prices might be less than a band from Nashville.

I can't imagine hiring a decent band here for that amount. I'm thinking you'll have more choices if you go with a DJ.

Yes! A Dj would be a great idea!

Here is a videographer . . . I can't imagine shooting for 8 hours but that's what this guy does! Know nothing about them but you could give them a call!

A small band, duet, or even solo act might be okay. We were thinking if there was someone just starting out, they might be less expensive.
