I'm not sure if this has been posted before, but I'm just curious if anyone has been to the country music fest. My friends and I just booked tickets to stay in downtown Nashville for the 2008 country music fest. We are all looking forward to it and I've always wanted to visit and explore Nashville. We also figured staying at a downtown hotel would be worth the extra $ so we could be close to everything.

I think you made the right decision getting a room downtown. That way you can get to everything easily and won't have to worry about driving around town so much.
