Moving to tn in 4 months...currently applying for jobs.
I'm interesting in Murfreesboro area. I have 2 high schoolers....researched riverdale high school and Blackman high....I hear both are great school. My kids are athletic and plays basketball very well.

I'm asking anyone who's in the Murfreesboro area and the surrounding area of these two schools I mentioned..can help or suggest housing at 600-800, maybe up to 900 monthly.. I prefer to start out in apartments. If there are houses around these price ranges that will be good.
I want to live in a safe area. We all know no where is safe, but we can at least feel safe

I'm coming from Ala where cost of living is not that expensive...Tn is a bit pricey, but i have to manage... Forgot to mention that I'm originally from tn...moved away and ready to return...

Suggestions??? Advice...I'm opened....thanks in advance!

Siegel, Blackman and STEWARTS CREEK (see other thread) are the newest and nicest...especially Stew Creek which opens in August. Riverdale and Oakland are older schools, however, Oakland does have an IB program for the highly academic. Central Magnet in Murf. is also an option for the academically high achieving.

If they care about learning at all, make sure they avoid "standard classes" and take at least honors or advanced honors whenever possible.
