Nick's in Franklin off Columbia and Mack Hatcher has good NY style pizza.

All the rest of the pizza in Nashville is meh at best. Mellow Mushroom probably is the tops of the meh crowd. Jet's is awful.

This analysis brought to you by a Chicago Pizza snob.

I always liked Manny's (Downtown) for a bite while I was working or transferring buses.

But altogether, NY Pie on Charlotte was worlds better than anything else I had over the course of three years in Nashville.

Joey's closed hisBrentwood location and consolidated to a new location.

One place that hasn't been mentioned is Angelo's Picnic Pizza in Antioch. It's in an iffy neighborhood, but the food is Amazing.

Home Page

with a capital A.

New York style. Ignore the glaring typo on his home page.

I've been twice to the one in Cool Springs. It has a great atmosphere, not-quite professional staff, and pretty good pizza. Expensive for lunch, I thought.

The crust was very good, but overall probably 6 out of 10.

For Chicago style fans, I would recommend 2 places in Sumner County...first is Windy City Pizzeria off of Walton Ferry Road (just off of Main St). The best Chicago style pizza I've had outside of an Uno's chain here and there or Malnati's in Chicagoland. Another worthy nominee is Pizza Machine in Gallatin (on the square). It's pretty close to Chicago style, but not quite the same as Windy City.
