I'm 19 and i'm planning on moving to Nashville, TN in summer 2013. I have been looking at several different apartments in Nashville on the internet & I have found 2 that are in the area I want to be in (downtown Nashville). The 2 apartments are called The Stahlman and The Cumberland so can anyone please tell me what your experiences have been while living in the stahlman and the cumberland? what's the normal rent for either a studio or 1 bedroom? what all comes with the apartment? refridgerator? stove? washer/dryer? parking? and what utilities are covered in the rent? a/c and heat? electric? water? trash? and also is it nice, clean, and safe in these apartments? I know it says that both of them have controlled access...what exactly does that mean? and how much is the pet fee? I have 1 cat. I would greatly appreciate any info anyone can give me on these apartments and if anyone has suggestions for any other apartments I may want to look at then please tell me...Thanks!!!

Sounds like you have narrowed down where you want to live! A very simple Google search would bring you to websites for both complexes including the phone number and cost for renting. The Cumberland apartments rent for $1,000 to $1,650 per month.

The Strahlman is similarly priced.

The Stahlman

Best to call them directly regarding amenities.

Best of luck!

I know some people who live in the Cumberland and like it. Just a heads up, the bottom floor did flood.during during the big flood we had here. But pretty sure it's all been redone now. Good luck with the move.

We have a couple apts in the Cumberland. They're fine. Rather generic and very expensive IMO. But very convenient if you work downtown.

Can you find apartment rentals in the Nashville metro for $550.00 or less? 1 bedroom or studio? I dont see much on Craigslist, but if Nashville's Craigslist is like Knoxville's then it isnt too indicative of the local rental market.
