I have a question for some of you long time Nashville residents. What would be the best publication to use to place a 'For Sale' add? (something like the Auto Trader). We have a 20 foot enclosed trailer we need to get rid of. does anybody have any suggestions?
Hendersonville area.

Thank You.

There are a couple of those types of publications in Nashville (seems like one is called The Traders Post and the other is something like Auto Trader). Or you could put an ad in the Tennessean.

I'm going to the grocery store in half an hour. IF (key word) I can remember, I'll look and see if there's anything on the front rack.

It's amazing how many people read those little ad papers. Years ago, after my father's death, I was selling some guns that had belonged to him . . . I put an ad in one of those papers and sold all the guns within a week.

You might want to try Craigslist too.

craigslist: nashville classifieds for jobs, apartments, personals, for sale, services, community, and events

I only found one of the little ad papers: American Classified / A Thrifty Nickel Want Ad Publication. It's a freebie and published locally.

You should be able to find them in the Nashville phone book. They also have a website, but I don't think I'm allowed to post it. If you can't guess what the website is (uh, it's their name), send me a private message and I'll send you the link.
