Hello everyone, I'm a bit new here, but I see that it's very welcoming and informative. This summer I'm visiting a friend for 3 months tops. My hope is to get an entry level job there so I can pay for the plane ticket home by August, just in time for the new semester of classes.

This is not really a board for career advice but I'd shoot for something you semi-enjoy doing. There might be a lot of competition for those summer jobs from local kids home from college. Do you have any experience in any particular field? Waiting on tables? Gardening? Roofing? Bartending? Lifeguarding? Short order cooking? Dog Walking? Mowing grass?
