The company said Monday that Evins — known as Danny — died Saturday in Lebanon, Tenn. No cause of death was given.

I hate to hear this CB was where I held my first job in NC for 6 years even became a member of the store opening team.
I hope his kids keep to Dans traditions and not change what is already working.

The Evins family are in my prayers.

Cracker Barrel shareholder ups stake | The Tennessean | tennessean.com

There may be some trouble in Cracker Barrel. Sure hope they don't goof up the store too much.

Bet place in town to get a CD with your meal.

Sad for Dan Evins. RIP.

Wouldn't bother me one bit if they shut down the horrid restaurants though.

OK. I can't figure this one out. What is a CD?

I don't think you mean the playable kind. There must be some new hipster usage of the term.

Cracker Barrel Music | Cracker Barrel

I DO mean music CD's. They did sell old time radio programs for some time. Then they moved on to Grand Ole Opry classics & stars. The Dailey & Vincent CD was a very hot seller for them.
Most CD's sell for $11.99 with tracks you won't find anywhere else. Look for their CD to climb the Billboard bluegrass or country charts. Cracker Barrel is one of 4 proud sponsors of the Grand Ole Opry. When you attend a show, they will pick out 1 lucky seat location to win dinner for 2 at a CB.

I wish they would go back to Real Maple Syrup. That 60/40 mix is horrible.
