If you're traveling from downtown Nashville (4th and Charlotte) to Davidson Co area of Nolensville Rd (37211/37027) area today at 4 pm, which route would you take? 24 to Bell to Nolensville, or 24 to OHB/Burkitt to Nolensville, or 65 S to OHB to Nolensville?
Just wanted to hear from someone who has experienced this commute.
Thank you!

NOT a commuter but do know that instead of taking OHB off of 65, go a bit further south on Franklin Road to Church street, turns into Cloverland. Then south on Edmonson Pike, and over to Nolensville on Holt.

Good call! Still interested in what I-24 commuters say.

That's generally the right route...but you want to hit that before 4:30 if at all possible. There are a lot of damn Rutherford County commuters that work in Maryland Farms...and that's the way they are going to get to I-24. Between about 4:45-5:30, it's a slow roll from Church St. to Holt Rd.

Talking specifically today and in the rain....I think I might just take 4th Ave/Nolensville Rd the entire way out. You could also get off at Harding Pl...but that will be slow, too.

There's not really a "good" way to get to Nolensville at/around OHB.

Left work 20 min early and Countrygirl's suggestion was spot on-no traffic, whoo hoo! Driving my new commute kind of exciting, as we have decided to buy in this area

Nice! Watch out, though...it can get tricky. Usually 65 South isn't the problem...it's a matter of beating the Brentwood office workers out.

I am glad it worked out for you but it IS a popular work around. Just seems like everyone is going THROUGH on those streets as opposed to OHB where there are people going in and out of stores along that route. Timing is everything.

You can also start off taking OHB, then scoot over to Cloverland ON Cloverland, turning right at a light (with a medical office complex to your left). That might save some of the congestion on Franklin Road.

Best of luck with your commute AND your house purchase!

I leave home every morning between 6 and 615 and it takes 25 minutes to drive to Green Hills--Nolensville to 440. I usually go the same route home; sometimes I go 440 to 65 to Concord to Nolensville. Of course it takes between 45 min to an hour to get home.
I'm so glad to be off 24 after living in Murfreesboro for 3 years!!!
