Where in Music City is a pretty broad selection of wine offered at good prices?

Frugal MacDougal's (Division St near 8th downtown)
Midtown Wine and Spirits (Church St west of I-40)
Cool Springs Wine and Spirits (Mallory Lane across from Cool Springs Mall)

to name a few. I'm sure others have their suggestions...I would say your best bet will probably be Frugal's.

Just remember, those places are closed tomorrow.

Good list, nashvols. Steve at Cool Springs W & S is wonderful. Knows his stuff and will find exactly what you need in a flash. He hasn't steered me wrong yet!

Bard at Red Dog (also in Franklin, next to the Publix by Home Depot) is great too.

I've been to Bard once...seemed pretty nice. There are actually a good number of liquor stores with knowledgeable staffs. I haven't had any issues with the store at Brentwood Place (next to Kroger) either.

I sometimes buy wine, but I'm more attracted to stores with a good beer selection. The three I mentioned have both...and they are big stores.

It's never a bad idea to check out some of the smaller places. There are some good hidden gems out there.

Just a little tidbit. The ONLY place you can buy wine in Nashville on a Sunday is the Belle Meade Plantation Winery:

Winery (http://www.bellemeadeplantation.com/index.php/Visit/Winery.html - broken link)

In case you ever get stuck for some libation . . . .

The ONLY reason I know is that I was there on a Sunday taking a tour . . and then, of course, checking out the gift shop. Something about it's a Historic Site and a Historic Winery so not under the normal liquor selling rules? The guy said they have 'saved' many a last minute party!

Actually you can buy wine on Sunday at Arrington Vineyards, and the Applebee's on Nipper's Corner will let you buy wine, as long they uncork it and put it in a to go bag.
