OP said they were looking at pics in this forum. Is there a way to quickly pull up pics without going through the forum page-by-page?

You can also watch episodes of ABC's Nashville - the show really does a nice job of showing the "landscape" of the area and highlighting local attractions. There are 5 full episodes from last season free on ABC.com, the DVD set is released next week, and the new season starts back up on September 25th.

Nashville doesn't have mountains but some of the streets winding through Forest hills, Oak Hills and other areas have homes perch on hilltops and high on cliffs that are spectacular. If you need Mountains live in East Tennessee, and for heavens sake get on a plane and visit. No Mountains in Nashville but cliffy rocky areas with water falls, rivers, recreations and camping just an hour or so outside of town in almost every direction. As far as fall foliage I'd say the Natchez Trace is as nice as anything, a great way to spend a fall day, it's just that here a lot of the red is lower foliage shrubs and other botanicals. Just outside of town there are amazing winding hilly roads all over the place and it's so beautiful and lush.
