Just moved recently to a house in Brentwood and wondering (unrealistically?) if there are any landscape companies that emphasize using natural and organic materials -- i.e. organic fertilizers, grasses that would minimize water usage, etc.

Any ideas?

If not, would also appreciate any recs for simply good lawn care companies (mowing, fertilizing, etc.)

Thanks!

A quick Google search (organic landscapers nashville) turned up a long list. Have at it, and have fun out there.

One of the companies that turns up in a google search is "TruGreen." I just wanted to point out that the "green" in their title isn't necessarily a reference to organic/eco-friendly services. They also go by "Tru Green Chemlawn." They offer an organic lawn care option, which I have explored, but I don't think very highly of it.

We live in Brentwood. A neighbor used Gardens of Babylon to put in a shade bed and garden beds in their yard. I thought they did a great job and if I ever get the energy to put in a garden in our yard, that's who I'd go to first. I think they also emphasize organic gardening and landscaping.

I would like to say, I started using Gardens of Babylon because of their natural chemical free approach to maintenance and I also had them install a butterfly garden and raised bed. I had fresh vegetables all winter and my butterfly garden is now blooming and looks amazing!
I highly recommend them if you want a natural yard.

Just to let you know, they also have a great garden center in downtown Nashville at the farmers market.

Thanks! I plan to go to Gardens of Babylon later this week to discuss some landscaping and will ask them at that time if they also do lawn maintenance (or can recommend a lawn maintenance company).

Much obliged...

Aaron

This really won't help much but I did see a truck the other day in Hendersonville that said organic/green/ethical lawncare and tree removal. It said Nashville-Brentwood-Hendersonville. Unfortunately I do not remember the name but at least those companies exist!
