Just wondering if there is anybody out there that know of any Lease-to-Purchase homes in the Thompsons Station/Spring Hill area? My husband recently got a job in Brentwood and we would like to move by March.

This link shows rentals in those two cities. No way to tell if they're lease-purchase, but if you contact the agents I'm sure they could tell you.

You might also check For Sale By Owner websites for that area. Some of the sellers may be interested in a lease-purchase.

You might ask your realtor to help with this search as they should be able to isolate which homes are specifically advertising lease to purchase availability. Also, depending on your desired price range – there is a fantastic home in the Concord Crossing neighborhood of Brentwood available for a potential lease purchase; 802 Albemarle Court [not my listing, not looking to break the terms of service for city-data, but familiar with the property and neighborhood].

Here are the 14 homes in Williamson County that are currently soliciting lease purchase offers publically (between $250,000-$750,000 in Thompson’s Station, Franklin, and Brentwood): Email Public Reports

*Be careful in drafting the paperwork on a lease option as many people involved in the transaction may not be as familiar with the process and how to protect your interests as they typically would be in a standard lease or sale contract. It’s not especially difficult; just take your time reviewing the docs and make sure they protect you appropriately.

Thank you, I don't have a realtor yet. We have just been driving around the areas trying to get a feel for what we are looking for. I guess now is the time to find an agent.

Again, thank you for your help (I need all I can get).

We are currently renting a home in Brentwood but will be closing on a house March 1. Depending on what you are looking for, maybe we can hook you up with the owners of the house? I am not sure if they are looking to continue renting it out or selling outright, but if it's something you're interested in, let me know and I can pm you details.

Congrats on the job! We moved here in July and LOVE it!

My suggestion is to find a nice, affordable place to rent while you do your home shopping and while you get your finances in order to buy a home outright.

Rent-to-own has a reputation for being a racket.
