My family will be relocating to Nashville at the end of October and we are looking for a house. We found nice houses in Thompson Station and Spring Hill both in the independence High School district. Can anyone tell us which of the two areas is more desirable. Thank you

Thompson's Station is a tiny town that is more rural but with new subdivisions. Spring Hill is a small town that exploded when the Saturn plant opened. It also grew, sometimes not so favorably, as a place where people moved who wanted cheaper housing that is still technically in Williamson County.
Both are small towns that have a mix of longtime locals and auto industry transplants. Spring Hill is more congested but also closer to conveniences.
The county just released new proposed school zones yesterday. You need to check to see if the addresses you are interested in are still zoned Independence.
