I don't understand when people get up set, with paramount. I've had no problems with them at all. Matter of fact I think they are great. They do a good job when they have good material. Not all material is good, I've had some that was really bad. As times goes on you get better and better. I'm a lot older than most, believe me. I wish all of you the best and with a lot of luck you can make it. Just, never, never give up. E.B. from Mo.

Does that tell you something?

Hey akm4,
what is the difference between what they all do for you. Between NSAI and the BMI, and ASCAP?

SESAC, BMI and ASCAP are P.R.O.s, whose basic function is to collect and distribute royalties.

NSAI is a songwriter's organization. They offer advice, workshops, etc. They also fight for writers in D.C.

I have the chance to get some of my lyrics put to music and a demo made also. I think Im going to do it, and see what happens.

That said, AGAIN, if you choose to do that, then good for you. To each their own. Do what you want to do, just don't represent your process as being the norm. That's all I've been saying.

you probably pay a lot more than$189.00 for studio time.

Default Paramount Group is fake

I have read several posts regarding this company. Do not send them anything. I used to work for them as office mgr. I quit once I saw they just use people and take the money. People they do not try anything with your songs. Once you pay them that is the end of it. They just keep trying to sell you on more items.

They are the laughing joke of music row. The owner is a drunk and he can not keep employees except for David Robinson because Jerry Norman pays his bills. There are better ways to get into the business. You are nothing more than money coming in to them.
