Exitus and Sluggo, have either of you heard of this 80's/90's glam band before? Lead singer Carl Albert (tragically died in car crash 1995) sounds similar to Ronnie James Dio in this music video. FYI: this song is actually a 1991 release however it sounds classic 80's metal and so wasn't sure if you guys would've caught it in 90's thread.

I vaguely remember them on something, maybe Headbangers Ball around the late 80s, and wonder if they ever came down to the LA area, which was a couple hours from where I was stationed in the late 80s. There is a LOT of Dio in the voice, some Geoff Tate, too.
I remember Vicious Rumors. They were discussed on a metal forum called Perpetual Motion that I used to frequent in the '90s. I also remember mention of Albert's death.

Interesting. While you guys hear Dio and Tate, Carl's voice to me sounds like a 40/60 hybrid of Bruce Dickinson and Savatage's Jon Oliva (who has been compared to Dio in the past). This song, from their 1990 self-titled album, is perhaps a better example.
