Red Hot Chili Peppers, their 1989 cover of Stevie Wonder's "Higher Ground".

A fresh one for the '80s forum!

Rick Wakeman's "I'm So Straight I'm A Weirdo" — from the Caped Crusader's 1982 solo album, Rock N' Roll Prophet!

This song was apparently the result of one of Rick's then-not unusual binge drinking sessions!

I think it's hilarious...enjoy!

Rick's done some unusual stuff as well as the symphonic progressive (and solo piano) albums he's known for. He has a fantastic sense of humor and has written a couple books I can't recommend highly enough. The man has stories to spare!

Time for more Wakeman!

In, 81, Rick released one of his finest solo albums, 1984.

This great fan-made video for "Robot Man" incorporates clips from the movie (which, as we know, came out in '84) with some stage footage from around that time of Rick and (separately) Chaka Khan (who sang on this and one other song on the album). Funky prog rockin'!
