I wasn't born yet in the 1980s but I love 1980s music. I adore New Wave, and I always listen to 80's-era Power Ballads whenever I'm in need of energy. Hair metal and arena rock is great too, even though it gets criticized a lot. I also love that rap during this time began to take off. The 80's were pretty much the best of all worlds.
