^ Interesting timing, because last night my wife and I were at a wine bar and the background music was an odd mix of 70s, 80s and 90s songs (among them G'n'R's "Patience", Survivor's "Eye of the Tiger", Neil Young's "Mr. Soul") covered in a very unusual manner by a wispy-voice wraith, one was that song ("Self Control"), and my wife asked "Whatever happened to Laura Branigan? What did she die of?" So here's a lesser-known song from 1987. Power of Love.
