Well, as the thread title explains, this thread is dedicated to old school rap and pop music. By old school I mean anything created before the new millenium. Be it Biggie, Pac, Cube, etc. feel free to post your favorites hear. Personally, I have always thought the earlier pop and rap musicians had more heart and soul in their music. They were talking about their lives, not all this material bullcrap we hear everyday on the radio these days. So please, post what you like and enjoy this thread. LOL ... kewl ! .. LOL ... I love old stuff cause
man.. I can relate tho am pale faced... I was
so excited that I mistakenly put two in that I had to take
out cause they're 2008 and 2006 ...

I replaced them with songs I would listen
to when needing a hot red release which
was often at one point...

Metal is for that cold ruthless side of me that
is capable of feeling nothing but straight out
brutality.....
Rap is for my red hot side that feels
every hurt in depth.... so both are my
internal fathers... side by side they shaped
me... other music is considered "Mother"
to me.. but daddy? its Rap and Metal..

Wise Uncle/Brother is Bob Dylan of course... LOL

(ponders suddenly... this might be considered
part of the official thread? not sure )

Everybody loved Dre back in the day. Gin and Juice with Snoop Dogg will go down in history as one of the best original rap songs of all time. But I posted a different one as you can see. Save that one for later.

I'm sorry, but I always liked this song. Will Smith is a much better actor than rap artist, but he's not bad either. And I always liked his earlier stuff better than the newer stuff.

And this has to rate among my 100 favorite songs of all time. Back in the day, this was the song to pump up the party. And it still works today. Gotta hand it to the Irish!
