That was classic Kid n Play. A lot of variety in Hip Hop back then. They were the lighter side of Rap....along with Fresh Prince....Heavy D....De La Soul......etc....

I loved all the people you mentioned. Back then it was called feel good music. I hate that we're rapidly moving to where a song has to be about sex, drugs, money and violence in order to be considered "HOT" by the masses. I remember watching a Kid N Play performance at the Apollo and Play accidentally knocked the mic out of Kid's hand; he caught it with the other and kept on dancing like nothing had happened
