...moves about, preparing for the day...

house-broken... extremely gentle and need a good
home... could you board the fellow for a bit? Would
be very little trouble to you and I...
:: already Ms. Beth is hugging Lucky and he
licking her face as if she was his long lost mama...
... whispers softly :: ... would be a wonderful
favour to me if ye could board him for a week
until things get sorted out? ...
:: see tears streaming down Ms. Beth face and
adds gently.. :: how about we just let you two
get acquainted with one another... Be back in
an hour or so to walk ye and Lucky to the Bus
Stop if need be... Lucky's clever... he sees
dangers in roads and goes 'round them ...
:: Eyes meet Ms. Cellie and sees tears brimming
her eyes too... oh shoot... I'm not crying I
tell myself...twisting frame a bit toward the road...
then fully... slowly walking a ways down slope
ramp... swallowing a lump in throat...
those two need one another all right... me says
to self.. utters a prayer of gratitude to Love... ::
... is this why the grass is green and the sky is blue...
... hears Ms. Cellie catching up behind... its about love...

rises ... rushes to porch arm in arm with
Ms. Cellie to meet a new friend... door
swings open.... a feeling of warmth ...
long feeling of wetness... with direction...
a friend on his knees???... rough wetness
on fingertips..
...big smile... insides burst with
uncontrollable happiness... He
remembered.... already feeling a sense
of seeing better... deep belly laugh ...
wiggly pressure... excited movement...
yelps... wagging tail furiously...
Mr. MMC says he needs boarding...
he's housebroken too... his name is what
I feel--Lucky! pats and squeezes...
I'm cryin with joy ... a dog... a dog to
care for... hugs Lucky, patting and
rubbing him...
He says that Lucky's very smart... he
can walk with me to the bus... keep
a good eye out on the road...
Mr. MMC, that'd be fine with me... yes,
Lucky can board with me for whatever
length of time You need...
Lucky is a warm furry body in motion,
with a wagging tail... licking me on my
face ...jumping up and down... I'm still
cryin... before I know it, Mr. MMC says
that He'll be back in an hour or so and
He and Ms. Cellie are making their way
down the road... they are good people!
so loving, kind and sensitive... never
seen anything like it before!!!
God, please bless Mr. MMC and Ms. Cellie

sleep out here on the porch tonight...
nice temperature... You stay as long
as You want... You've got free run of
the house... treat my home as an
