A few months ago I bought Taylor Swift' self-titled album, one of two favorite albums ever, along with Martina McBride's "Waking Up Laughing."
Now there's a new "deluxe edition" with 4 additional songs. I only found about after I saw YouTube videos set to those songs and at first I thought they were part of Taylor's upcoming 2008 album. All of those new songs are also amazing. Taylor Swift is definitely one of the most talented, best, most amazing artists ever.
But I feel very cheated because I bought the original album (albeit with a Barnes and Noble gift card). Does this sort of thing happen with a lot of albums and deluxe editions?
Can you buy the four songs a la carte on itunes? I know that a couple of new songs often show up on greatest hits albums so that hard-core fans will buy the album for the new song or two. That might be changing now with the ability to buy individual songs.
