This has always been a favorite tune and video for me. It's an old one from the 90's. I forgot how skinny Kenny was back then. lol Anyway, this was still in the 90's. SRV died in '90 so it was still in the same decade and fairly close and fresh in the minds of listeners. About 2:40 into this video and song, this old black bluesman gives Kenny this old beat up '61 Strat. Kenny is supposed to be working at a pawn shop. That really is Kenny's favorite guitar in real life by the way. As the old man is passing it off, you see him mouth the words "I'm free". That goes back to the old legend of the bluesman selling his soul to the Devil to give him the talent to play guitar over and above the average man. Kenny straps it on and rips out in a VERY SRV like solo. I remember watching that vid on MTV when it was new. I'm sure everyone else thought what I did too at the time.
