This is the first one I heard from Men I Trust https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&sour...AH5-2VNf75bqNc
I think I ditched it halfway, getting a somewhat wrong impression. I liked it better on second full listen. Your track prompted mixed feelings too. But I am going to explore further based on your prompt. What other songs by them do you like best?

Pierre , seven, norton commander, and talwhip!
Hope you enjoy them, but numb is my favorite by them.
A big Lush fan, Ladykillers is a deviation of their normal shoegaze material.
Thanks to the conversation you all had on Men in Trust, they have a new listener. I enjoyed Show Me How.
Regarding Lush, Ladykillers was definitely an attempt to stay relevant with the more popular tastes at the time. The first two albums are classic.
I spent my 21st birthday (1992) hanging out with Lush backstage (which was really downstairs) at the original 930 club in DC. I still have fantastic memories from that night.
The original 930 location (930 F St NW) held ~180 people...packed in tightly. I used to spend a couple nights a week there in the late 80s and early 90s.
Have you all checked out Miki's relatively new band, Piroshka? I didn't see Piroshka mentioned in this thread.
The first time I heard this song, I felt like I was 21 again and back at the 930 Club. Once the single was released, I listened to it for three straight hours...and I'm not exaggerating. Plus, I love hearing brass in music.
