Doctor John called on the Meters when he made his New Orleans pop record The Right Place. You can't have a great group without a great drummer. One of the greatest, Joseph 'Zig' Modeliste used to play with the Meters and he supplies the percussion that holds it down.

Imagine from John Lennon resonates the most with me. Only 3 when produced yet vividly remember the tune
in the late 70's as being the youngest in a large family who was part of the hippie generation. And will never
forget the day he died and where i was..got the paper off the porch and the headline was "John Lennon shot
dead" and i just starting crying..As young i was at the time, it rocked me..some things yeah never forget..
