They are a bunch of shady dready hippie kids. In college they all practiced a fake peace and love bs, but stole crap from me if I threw a party. Seriously, I had so much crap stolen from me from Phish hippy junkies it ticked me off.

Jerry Garcia hated wearing tie-dyes by the way. Also, Morning Dew is one of the most amazing songs to ever come from the San Fran hippie scene, and if nobody ever heard it, they don't know enough to comment in this thread.
Hippies sucked. They were generally dirty drug addicts that did not want to work or do anything but get high and screw each other. Filthy pigs they were. Why anybody would want to identify with the Haight-Asbury bunch is beyond me.

Default Hippie music

would Bread be considered hippie music, or maybe the Buffalo Springfield or the Flying Burrito brothers?

Yes! I didnt know she'd ever done anything else until I heard her on American Routes (maybe an MM special? a long interview? somehow she took up a lot of airtime). She's a delight!

If for no other reason it'd be worth it just to annoy narrow-minded, judgemental people who make sweeping assumptions with little/no experience to back them up

If you get a chance listen to Rod Stewart singing Morning Dew on the Jeff Beck album Truth, it rocks!

^I am sorry, I just don't believe words "Rod Stewart" and "rocks" can go into the same sentence. I will give it a try though.
