I remember watching Rawhide as a kid. Clint was my favorite character Rowdy Yates. What a great entertainer and storyteller he is.Thanks for the memories, happy birthday, and many more. Love Million Dollar Baby.

Oh that sounds like a bologna! He was squinting in Dirty Harry movies and he had no cigar, what gives?

Anyhow, congrats to him on his 80th B-day! I am glad I ain't the only one aging...

Hey, I'm only recounting what I read from Eastwood. If it's bologna, it's bologna from right out of his mouth.

And keep in mind that all the Dirty Harry flicks came well after Eastwood's work with Leone. The so-called "dollars" flicks MADE Eastwood not just a star, but an icon. The last of them, The Good the Bad and the Ugly, came out in 1966. Dirty Harry didn't come along until 1971. By that time, Clint wasn't just playing Harry Callagan, he was playing Eastwood the icon -- flinty squint and all.

Wow, it doesn't seem possible!

Thank you Mr. Eastwood, for creating all those beautiful jazz documentaries!
