How many of you frequent IMDB? (film, scenes, cast, serial)

I joined IMDB a long time ago, and still hang out at the board for Local Hero.
I once had a furious but very funny email exchange with another IMDB member over the various faults and/or virtues of the BBC 1982 version of Pride and Prejudice.
I made a comment championing the film, and he replied by email with a list of its many (in his mind) deficiencies. I don't know if the guy enjoyed the banter as much as I did--he was quite adamant.
In terms of civility, the boards often echo the subject matter. You might not get the same discussion at, say, 300 as you would at Casablanca.
I don't frequent the boards all that much, but sometimes they can be enlightening.
The board for Brokeback Mountain (2005) got so long they had to purge all the hundreds of pages. There were people on there who actually got to know each other through the constant posts. There are still almost 2200 reviews written about the movie on there...
I was just there right before I saw your post. Yesterday, I saw a most excellent movie called Snow Angels. It was made in 2007 but I had never heard of it. While watching it, I recognized 4 - 5 actors, but couldn't place how I knew their faces. I went to the IMDb. It turns out, they all had very memorable guest starring appearances on one of the 3 Law & Order shows. They made a whole bunch of other stuff but I realized as soon as I saw the IMDb that it was their Law & Order guest roles that were so memorable because I remembered their character's name once I saw it and immediately recalled the episode. IMDb is a godsend.
P.S. I highly recommend Snow Angels if you like good dramas.

That reminds me of the IMDB board for The Time Traveler's Wife.
I quit going before the movie even came out, but those boards were quite active during production.
I use IMDB a lot. Mostly it's to look up information on something I'm watching but I also like to check my own ratings. (Since I've appeared in films and a couple TV episodes, I'm listed on the site.)
