I'm a bit older...so the first two...off the "top" of my head are:

(1) "Santa Claus Captures The Martians"

(2) "Plan Nine From Outer Space"

(3) "Halloween 3".....It had nothing that tied it with the first film...except the holiday! The first Halloween movie is a classic!

I actually paid money to see the first movie in movie theatres, as a child; and I paid for the third one too, as a young man.

(4) "White Chicks"

(5) "Catwoman"

I'm sure someone has a few more........newer Hollywood "BOMBS"!!!! LOL.

(6) "Xanadu"......how could I forget(rolls eyes sarcastically).

  1. Madagascar 2 was a HUGE disappointment
  2. I absolutely hated Wings of Desire (the German one, altho the English version City of Angels was just as dire)
  3. Elizabeth: The Golden Age wasn't badly acted (much), just hopelessly inaccurate historically
  4. Coyote Ugly - I offered to repay my friend the cost of the tickets to this one but he gallantly said no even tho we both agreed this was the biggest pile of !*@$ that year
  5. And I know I'm going to get flamed for saying this, but I stand by my belief that There Will Be Blood was almost as boring as Wings of Desire

Battlefield Earth. We do regular bad movie nights where a bunch of people watch a bad movie and heckle it, but this one was so awful we stopped doing it for a couple of years.

I said this on another similar thread a year or so back, but I have to go with The Talented Mr. Ripley. Only movie I ever walked out of the theater on. It made me feel sick for days after attempting to watch it.

Tough to say because I either fell asleep or was unable to watch these monsters all the way through. Most are chick flicks that wife/girlfriends rented.

Legend Of Bagger Vance
Sophies Choice
Day After Tomorrow
Shakespeare In Love
Princess Bride
Doctor T and the Women
Sleepless In Seattle

Southland Tales
Twilight - I like the old school Vampires that sleep during the day and roam the night.

maf763 you are correct Battlefield Earth was terrible.

I did not like "Crash" either....it never should have won.....no matter what people may think..."Brokeback Mountain" was the best film that year....much better than Crash.
