We love Netflix, so convenient and such a bargain. I love that there are no hidden/late fees and that their turnaround times are so quick. They also have every movie I've ever wanted to watch, unlike the video stores, library or Redbox. We get 3 movies at a time, so I've usually got one or two DVDs at home while another is in transit.

And as a side note, I feel like Blockbuster took advantage when they were the only game in town, charging exorbitant late fees. Now that there are so many other options, I choose to use a more customer-friendly company for DVD rentals.

Lisake,I will agree that Netflix is a bargain.
When we rented videos from Hollywood, we could get 3 videos for 4 nights for $15 versus Netflix where I can get around 8 movies a month for $15. Plus they have a lot of the movies I want.

I just figured I could save my $15 and get my movies from the library. I found myself rushing to watch my movies (and that wasn't any fun) and with the library, I have two weeks with every movie.

whatnow, I said in a later post that my library has 90% of the movies I want. There have been movies I've found through my library system that Netflix doesn't have and there have been a few movies Netflix has that my library doesn't. I just don't think it's worth the $15 for those few movies.

I don't mind watching movies online but my internet isn't SUPER fast so while a movie may be 90 minutes, it might take me 2 hours and 30 minutes to watch it all.

I realize libraries can only offer so much but my library system offers quite a bit. To each their own. No need to get defensive.

Cable: Showtime On Demand, Cinemax OD, Movie Channel OD, Starz OD and Pay-per-view. I despise Walletbuster.

I just put holds on The Proposal, My Life in Ruins, and Away We Go. I'm going to be one of the first people to get it at my library! I'm so excited!

I kept checking and checking to see when they would add Away We Go and they added it an hour or two ago.

I always buy movies online or in-store.
I dont rent, but my brother has a Net-flix membership, so I'm taking advantage of that now and asking him to get me movies.
And I also watch movies online; I can recommend sites if anyone wants to know some

Hulu.com. You can use that for movies, tv shows, and documentaries.
