Just watched The Postman again - long long movie, but actually better than I'd remembered.

The Langoliers. The movie was long and okay...uppp until the point where the Langoliers came munching everything up..they looked silly and cartooney.

Watched two movies tonight on netflix.

First I watched American Violet (2008) which I gave 5/5 stars on netflix. Started out a bit slow but really made up for it in the end. Sad movie, shocking that its a true story and what happened in it only happened a few years ago and is still happening today.

Second movie I watched was Demolition Man (1993) and I also gave it 5/5 stars. Great action movie, with two great action movie actors. Had some humor and lots of big explosions. I loved how Sandra Bullock always got the old sayings wrong, "We licked his a**" Instead of "We kicked his a**" LOL.

I recommend both.

Law Abiding Citizen. Good movie. Fair criticism of the justice system made in an absolutely insane way...

Years ago, I'da never thought Jamie Fox would have turned into the good actor he's become.

Just got done watching Home Alone 2: Lost in New York (1992). A nice simple film. I forgot how funny it was. Also in scenes where they really could have made it cheesy it maintained composer for the most part. I rated this 5/5 on netflix. I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to watch a light hearted movie, and laugh a bit.

Watched Apollo 13 last night on one of the movie channels. Was underwhelmed by it and don't know why. It had a good story, good acting, good tension, and yet I found myself growing bored as it went along. Ron Howard's movies have that effect on me ("Cocoon"), just one of those things I guess.
