I actually mentioned Blindness in the most disturbing movie you’ve ever seen thread- the mass rape scenes are absolutely disgusting.
And the conflict that arises between those in the "competing" quarantine rooms? So unnatural, so forced.

I had hopes it would parallel Children of Men.
A very interesting concept very poorly thought out and executed.

I thought the same thing. Although I never reads the book, the concept was very interesting. In the right hands, and with different actors (I'm just not a Julianne Moore fan), it could have been a good movie, IMO... (as long as the rape scenes were left out...)

This has to have been the biggest waste of talent I have ever seen. A waste of a plot. Based on a book? How many pages, 2 or 3? It made no sense, poked a stick at governement based on a premise the story creates.
Truly awful waste of time watching it.
