Are there any movies about yoga?

I have heard that in Bollywood that there are tons of movies about yogis and they are portrayed as malicious beings. Its always been this way according to the author of Sinister Yogis. Meanwhile we like to think that yogis are peace loving do gooders.

Curios to know if you have seen great movies about Yoga?

Namaste

"We" like to think that yogis are peace-loving do-gooders? Who is this "we" you refer to?

After all the sex scandals and financial abuse scandals of the 60's into the 80's, people are sadder but wiser about yogis, and don't tolerate them, unless they're too young to remember that era, or don't know anyone who was involved with those movements, communes, and whatnot. Rajneesh was the last one, and he got booted from the US after his assistant and some of his followers tried to take over the county where they lived, and were indicted for bioterrorism (poisoning a town's food supply). Rajneesh also confessed in court to having arranged sham marriages, so his followers from other countries could stay in the US.

Yogis are good at appearing to be peace-loving do-gooders on the surface. That's as far as the facade goes.

We as in the general public who sees yoga as the whole "do good, be good, good karma all around" type talk.

Lots of people have that idea in their head. Or maybe its changing because of Bikrams prolific misdeeds that was so significant.

There's a film about Bikram, the hot yoga guy, out there somewhere. I'm thinking it might be a documentary. From the preview I saw a while back, I don't think he was going to come of looking very well, either.

They made two big documentaries about him. Netflix was about his predatory behavior. The older was about his business practices. Critic was that he was turning yoga in to McYoga and his response was "so what? I like big macks!"

But I have heard there are some horror movies in India from way back that depicts yogis as the movie antagonist.
