The Sound of Metal (film, action, oscar, watched)

This movie has a couple of Oscar nominations, & the story sounds interesting. I won't even have to wear my hearing amplifier, as it will have sub titles.

Has anyone seen it? We're going tomorrow.

I've seen it, and it was excellent.

If you stream it, be sure to watch in a very quiet room. Much of the power of the film is the amazing sound editing, and sonic distractions will drown that out.

We watched it last week. Loved it.

I wasn't impressed. The story was kind of blah. They seemed more interested in trying to impart the experience of deafness than anything else.
