There's likely a generational difference at play here. I'm 46 ... I know what "ship" means, but I've never used the phrase. From a grammar standpoint, it bugs me. "Relationship" is a noun, not a verb. The same should hold true for an abbreviated version.

No, I'm just not familiar with it. We're both Gen X-ers, I see. And yes, to say "who you gonna ship" to suggest a relationship sounds awkward as hell. To me, anyway.

Sorry, I meant generational difference between you & ELO. I could be wrong, but I don't know many GenXers who use that phrase.
